You’ve heard of clouds in your coffee, but how about iced coffee on your nails?
Continuing on the foodie nail trend that Hailey Bieber started with her glazed donuts, we’re now moving on to drinks. Iced coffees are definitely the drink of the summer, and even though we’re heading into fall, you don’t have to totally say goodbye.
Using shades of brown and cream, the new trend is to create iced coffee nails.
The idea is based on how prettily the coffee and milk swirl together over the ice cubes. Basically, they are nails good enough to drink.
There are a couple ways to carry out this trend.
Using brown, white, and cream gel polish, you can dot your nails to create a marbled effect. Another method is to use a stamp or sponge dipped in the neutral-toned colors.
You’re aiming for abstract, so don’t worry about being pedantic. Go with the wispy flow and choose how much of each shade you’d like to use. You can also add in some other shades like a caramel, or black for espresso. Be as bold or subtle as you like.
It really is as personal as making your own coffee.
