Natural and Non-toxic Beauty Products to Use in Daily Life

It’s hard work to find natural, non-toxic and anti-aging makeup, hair, and personal care products… that actually work! Today’s cosmetic industry is poisoning us through ingredients that lead to cancer, toxic load, chemical sensitivities, birth defects, hormone imbalances, and much more. In fact, conventional skin care and beauty companies routinely use over 1,500 ingredients that are known to be harmful.

But you don’t have to sacrifice your health to look and feel beautiful. There are non-toxic personal care products that are safe and natural… and that you’ll love to use!

I have tried natural eye makeup removers. The problem is they are 1) expensive and 2) usually burn my eyes. So instead I just continue to use my old stand by: a liquid oil such as almond, avocado, or jojoba. Rub some on the eyes, then wash off with soap and water.

I can’t do the oil cleansing method because I tend toward oily skin already. So, I alternate between Beautycounter’s charcoal cleansing bar and Rejuvenating Face Cleanser. They’re both amazing how they clean.

If used too much I can see how the charcoal cleansing bar can be drying, so that’s why alternating is good. The Rejuvenating Face Cleanser is a bit of a surprise. It doesn’t lather up, but spreads on creamy-like.

My eyes sting with everyone I’ve tried. I don’t know if it’s the caffeine or the green tea or what. So, I use this Jason aloe Vera gel around my eyes if needed. I also use the serum around my eyes, so I know my eye area is getting renewed even without a dedicated product. This might break some rules, but it’s working for me.
