Each season of Black Mirror is one star-studded affair, and Season 7 will continue this trend. Several major stars recently joined its cast, including Issa Rae (Insecure), Awkwafina (The Farewell), Emma Corrin (The Crown), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish), and Chris O’Dowd (The Big Door Prize).

Season 7 will also star Patsy Ferran (Life After Life), Lewis Gribben (Somewhere Boy), Osy Ikhile (Citadel), Siena Kelly (Adult Material), Rosy McEwen (The Alienist), Harriet Walter (Succession), and Paul G. Raymond (Horrible Histories).

Episodes

Billy Magnussen, Jimmi Simpson, Cristin Milioti, and Milanka Brooks will be a part of Season 7, after previously starring in the Emmy-winning episode USS Callister. Its sequel will be one of the six episodes coming to Netflix next year, and creator Charlie Brooker said that two of them will be feature-length.

Tone & Vibe

When it comes to the tone of Season 7, Brooker described the new season as “a little bit OG Black Mirror” and promised it would go back to basics. He also said we can expect a mix of genres and styles with tons of disturbing content, while also adding some of the episodes will be quite funny and emotional.
