Pop-culture-themed makeup collections are all the rage in the beauty world, and it was just a matter of time before our favorite brands started going to anime for inspiration. ColourPop Cosmetics is a pioneer in anime-inspired makeup, and here are some of their best launches so far.
Naruto
One of ColourPop’s latest drops celebrates the beloved series Naruto and it pays homage to its main trio – Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. Most of the products in this line are inspired by their signature colors, including the pressed powder palette, super shock shadows, gel liners, and glitter gels.
The Legend of Korra
ColourPop’s Naruto collection isn’t the first anime-themed drop they surprised us with this year. They also released a makeup line inspired by The Legend of Korra back in March, which includes a similar range of products as their Naruto drop, but in softer, earthy colors.
Sailor Moon
ColourPop has been actively dropping anime-themed makeup lines this year, but they’re not a novelty for this brand. Their Sailor Moon collection hit the shelves all the way back in 2020 and became such a huge hit that they repeatedly restocked it. Shadow palettes, blushes, lip kits, and other products from this makeup line are still available for purchase online.
