Pop-culture-themed collections are not a novelty in the makeup world, but many new launches this spring had one thing in common. Our favorite cartoons served as inspiration for some pretty amazing new makeup lines, and here are three that got everyone talking.
ColourPop – Pokémon
ColourPop’s anime-themed makeup lines are a gift that keeps on giving, and they’ve finally given us one we’ve been asking for forever. Their Pokémon-inspired line is everything we’ve expected and more, and it features a wide range of products in vibrant colors inspired by the Kanto region.
SheGlam – Rick & Morty
SheGlam has given us some pretty amazing pop-culture-themed collections in recent years, and their latest pays homage to Rick & Morty. It offers eyeshadow palettes, lip gloss sets, setting powders and sprays, and makeup tools that will make you feel like you’re taking a wild ride on the Space Cruiser.
Spectrum – The Powerpuff Girls
Spectrum has given us more amazing collections of makeup brushes than we can count, and their latest is the love letter to our favorite Cartoon Network classic.
